See your options

Your item is full and one line is no use. Look at what you can do before you spend anything.

Neither orb lets you choose the line. If the bad line is one of six, the odds of hitting it are not in your favour.

  • Orb of Annulment

Removes one random modifier and adds nothing.

Pick it when: The item has a clearly weak line and you want an open slot back.

You give up: The line removed is random, so it can be a line you wanted. It is also a rare, expensive currency, so use it wisely.

  • Chaos Orb

Removes one random modifier and adds one new random one. It is a swap, not a full reroll.

Pick it when: You want another chance at a better line and accept the risk.

You give up: Both the removed line and the new line are random.

  • Keep it

Do nothing. The item stays exactly as it is.

Pick it when: The item already does the job your build needs.

You give up: A weak line stays.

This is step 5 of 5. You have a full Rare and one line you don't want.

The decision

  • Orb of Annulment removes one random modifier and adds nothing. It is a rare, expensive currency, so use it wisely.
  • Chaos Orb removes one random modifier and adds one new one. It is a swap, not a full reroll.
  • Keep it costs nothing and risks nothing.

Both orbs pick the line to remove at random, so they can remove a line you wanted.

When to stop

If the item does the job your build needs, stop. Every further orb is a gamble on a line you can't undo.
