Rite of the Nameless
Choose a series of five maps to complete one continuous ritual. The hub is Caer Tarth, in the west.

The King in the Mists
The boss of the Rite. He drops The Head of the King, the key that leads to the Bodach.

The Wildwood
Return to the Wildwood and transfer your name to a constructed effigy.

Crown of the Nameless King
Wear the Crown to enter the Prison of the Bodach.

The Bodach
An ancient being of darkness imprisoned beneath the Wildwood. A two-phase fight.

The King and the Queen
The King in the Mists
Ends the Rite of the Nameless and drops The Head of the King. He is the way to the Bodach.
The Queen in the Mists
A different, optional boss, opened by the Mysterious Rites passive on the Atlas tree. She is not part of the five-map Rite. She drops three corrupted Idols: the Sycophant, the Martyr and the Pharisee.
Some guides say the King drops the Idols. Official patch notes give them to the Queen.
Tribute and rewards
Ritual is a crafting farm in disguise.
- Tribute is the progress bar. You earn it by sacrificing monsters and items at the altars. It replaced the old fragment system.
- Every reward is a Unique or an Omen. Official patch notes: everything on the endgame Ritual reward screen is now a Unique or an Omen.
- Spare Tribute buys an audience. Unspent Tribute can be sacrificed directly for An Audience with the King.
