• Essence of Virtue — Grants the skill Virtuous Barrier: gain a random Strength, Dexterity, or Intelligence Mote every 2 seconds. The maximum number of each Mote type is 3, plus the number of Skills you have that require that Attribute — and Skills that require only a single Attribute count double toward that cap. Each Mote grants a passive bonus based on its type: Strength Motes grant 2% increased maximum Life each, Dexterity Motes grant 5% increased Armour, Evasion, and Energy Shield each, and Intelligence Motes grant 5% increased Life Regeneration rate and 5% increased Mana Regeneration rate each.
• Enhanced Effectiveness — 20% less Attributes, but inherent bonuses gained from Attributes are doubled. (This is a genuine trade-off, not a pure upgrade — it reduces your raw Strength/Dexterity/Intelligence totals by a fifth before doubling what those totals grant you natively; it doesn't double Virtuous Barrier's per-Mote bonuses above, which come from the Motes skill, not from raw Attributes.)
• Adaptive Capability — Attribute Requirements of Gems can be satisfied by your highest Attribute, letting you run Strength- or Intelligence-heavy gems on a Dexterity-stacking build (or any other combination) without splitting your investment across all three.
• Advanced Thaumaturgy — Gem Quality grants Socketed Skills an additional effect, on top of whatever that Skill's Quality bonus already does.
• Gem Studded — For each colour of Socketed Support Gem that is most numerous, gain a bonus: Red gives Hits against you no Critical Damage Bonus; Blue gives Skills 30% less Cost; Green gives 40% less Movement Speed penalty from using Skills while moving. (Ties between colours or an even split are not addressed by the node's own text.)
• Thaumaturgical Infusion — +1% to maximum Cold Resistance per 3 Blue Support Gems Socketed, +1% to maximum Fire Resistance per 3 Red Support Gems Socketed, and +1% to maximum Lightning Resistance per 3 Green Support Gems Socketed.
• Integrated Efficiency — Skills deal 20% increased Damage per Connected Red Support Gem, have 6% increased Skill Speed per Connected Green Support Gem, and have 20% increased Critical Hit Chance per Connected Blue Support Gem.
• Implanted Gems — A pure gateway notable: it carries no stats of its own, but unlocks a branch of three "Implants" small passives (see Small passives below), one per Attribute.
