Titan: Full Ascendancy Breakdown

A deep dive into every notable on the Titan Ascendancy — Armour-scaling slams, Aftershock chains, and Crushing Blow stuns.

Identity

Titan is Warrior's Armour-and-slam Ascendancy: a heavy-hitting, stand-your-ground build that scales Armour from your equipped Body Armour, chains Slam skills into Aftershock explosions, and stuns enemies hard enough to open them up for bonus damage. There's no mobility trick or resource gimmick here — Titan just hits harder and tankier the longer a fight goes, rewarding a player who's willing to stand in the mess rather than kite around it.

Notables

  • Stone Skin — 50% more Armour from your equipped Body Armour.
  • Earthbreaker — 25% chance for Slam Skills you use yourself to cause Aftershocks. (Buffed from 20% in patch 0.2.0 — some older guides still list the pre-buff value.)
  • Ancestral Empowerment — Every second Slam Skill you use yourself is Ancestrally Boosted. The exact bonus this grants isn't confirmed by more than one source yet — treat any specific percentage you see quoted elsewhere as unverified until it's cross-checked.
  • Colossal Capacity — Carry a Chest which adds 20 inventory slots. (A quality-of-life notable, not a combat one — useful for map/loot-heavy play.)
  • Hulking Form — 50% increased effect of Small Passive Skills. This is a multiplier on everything in the "small passives" section below, including the disputed Slam AoE node.
  • Crushing Impacts — Your Hits are Crushing Blows, and you deal 25% more damage against Heavy Stunned enemies. This is Titan's core damage-scaling notable — Crushing Blow status plus the follow-up damage bonus is the main payoff for building around stuns.
  • Mountain Splitter — Every third Slam skill that doesn't create Fissures (used by you) causes 3 additional Aftershocks ahead and to each side of the initial area. (This replaced an older notable, Surprising Strength, in patch 0.4.0 — Surprising Strength no longer exists on the current tree.)
  • Mysterious Lineage — 15% more maximum Life.

Small passives

  • 4% increased Strength
  • Regenerate 0.5% of maximum Life per second
  • 20% increased Armour
  • 18% increased Stun Buildup
  • Slam Area of Effect — value disputed, not yet resolved. One primary datamined source lists this as 8% increased Area of Effect; three independent community sources list it as 12%. No patch note addressing this specific node was found in either direction through 0.5.4. Until this is confirmed (ideally by a direct in-game tooltip check), don't state a specific percentage for this node on the page — note it as "increases Slam skill Area of Effect (exact value unconfirmed)" rather than picking one number.

Keystone

Titan has no keystone-tier node of its own — its entire kit is built from the notables and small passives above. (Keystones in PoE2 live on the shared passive tree, not every Ascendancy has one on its own tree.)

Practical notes

  • Titan wants a Body Armour with real Armour on it — Stone Skin's 50% more Armour is only as good as the base Armour you're multiplying.
  • Crushing Impacts and Mountain Splitter work together: landing Crushing Blows sets enemies up to take extra damage, and Mountain Splitter's Aftershocks help you land more hits into that same enemy without needing to reposition.
  • Ancestral Empowerment's exact bonus isn't nailed down yet — build around it as a "free periodic boost" rather than planning precise numbers on it until it's confirmed.
