Ten maps, packs capped
A Grand Mirror now spreads the fog to exactly 10 maps. Delirium monster packs stop growing past 100% Deliriousness, though monsters still get harder.
From GGG's 0.5.5 patch notes.
The Simulacrum comes at 100%
Since 0.5.3 it appears when the fog bank reaches 100%, not when the fog first spreads. Its 7 waves run from 100% to 200%.
The scaling didn't work at all before 0.5.3.
Getting back in
With the Is this about me... or you? passive, Splinters drop in level 75 and higher maps. 300 make a Simulacrum, used on a map that's already at 100% Deliriousness.
The item is called a Simulacrum. It turns the map into the Simulacrum of Delusion.

Liquid Emotions
Delirium monsters drop them, and map bosses drop the Potent ones.
- Jewels: one Emotion on a Rare jewel removes a random modifier and adds a guaranteed one, like a greater essence.
- Amulets: three Emotions instill a notable passive at the bench by the Withered Willow. Their order matters, and a new instill replaces the old.
- Potent and Ancient: Potent Emotions come from map bosses. Ancient ones need an Atlas passive and only work on Time-Lost jewels.
- Combining: three lower Emotions make one higher at the Reforging Bench.

Craft jewels with Emotions
One Liquid Emotion on a Rare jewel removes a random modifier and adds a guaranteed one, like a greater essence. What it adds depends on the jewel: Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald, or any of the three on a Diamond.
Three lower Emotions combine into one higher Emotion at the Reforging Bench.
Know the rarer Emotions
Potent Emotions come from map bosses. The wiki says Ferocity boosts a jewel's prefixes or suffixes, and Contempt allows one more. Ancient Emotions only drop with the I know your childhood fears... passive, and only work on Time-Lost jewels.
0.5.5 fixed that passive giving Ancient Emotions half the time instead of a fifth.
Instill an amulet
At the bench by the Withered Willow, put three Emotions into an amulet or a Raven-Touched item. The result is a notable passive, and which one depends on the Emotions and their order. A new instill replaces the old one.
If it goes wrong: Corrupted and mirrored items can't be instilled again, and Distorted and Twisted Amulets lose both of their notables if you instill over them.
Face the Raven Trickster
Put Raven's Reflection into the mirror at the Withered Willow. expcarry describes two damage stages with a break between. First he throws fire and calls lightning, so strafe. Then he heals in the centre: walk out of the growing circle, because rolling through it doesn't work.
In the second stage, mirror copies appear. Track the real one by its life bar, and step sideways out of the Refraction Beam.
Know the key rules
expcarry says the quest key gives unlimited revives and repeat keys give two. Since 0.5.5 he no longer has every elemental resistance. Beating him completes Strange Reflection and gives 6 Delirium Atlas points.
He always drops one unique, like Veilpiercer or The Auspex. Some can drop Raven-Touched.
Bring the right Master
Only one Master works in a map, so pick before you open this one. Three options act on Pinnacle Bosses. Hilda's Gutting and Skinning lets you scavenge them for a 5% chance at an extra unique. Doryani's Head of the Snake gives a 25% chance at an extra unique. Jado's Untold Histories raises your chance of Lineage Supports, but Pinnacle Bosses take 35% less damage.
GGG's 0.5.4b notes name the Raven Trickster as one of the fights Gutting and Skinning now works on.
If it goes wrong: Head of the Snake also says Pinnacle Bosses have a single Revive, and no source explains what that means. Check it in game before you take it into a fight you care about.
